In 2024, LMR Naturals by IFF deepened its relationship with its longstanding partner in China by establishing a new strategic partnership, creating an innovative platform that merges local botanical extraction expertise with LMR’s global excellence in naturals.
Sourced from our expert Chinese partner specialized in floral and leaf extraction, our Osmanthus flowers bloom for just one week in early autumn and are carefully harvested on the third or fourth day to capture their optimal aromatic profile. They then undergo a unique brining process lasting 2 to 5 months, which triggers fermentation and develops the signature lactonic scent of osmanthus absolute.
Our osmanthus presented by Will Wang our R&D Naturals Crop Science Agronomist, has a radiant signature of sun-kissed apricot and soft suede, layered with floral, tea-like nuances and a hint of leathery warmth.
