Описание: Hello everyone. Today's video is yet another installment of our ongoing series to make our own "better" version of the classic BMW e46 M3. Our project car started out as a 2001 BMW 325ci and has since gotten a full M3 drivetrain, suspension, custom fuel setup, and more. But the crown jewel of the build is the 2JZ engine swap. We've taken this 2JZ build from a junkyard 2JZ-GE VVTi, limited to about 400hp and built it out using 2JZ-GTE parts to make it capable of handling 1000+ horsepower. In the video we ditch the factory 2JZ oil level sensor unit using the block off plate kit from Powerhouse Racing. This relocates the oil temperature sensor in order to take a reading straight from the pan. The kit also allows us to install a crankcase pressure sensor to monitor just how effective our ventilation system is by telling us just how much pressure is in the crankcase. Crankcase pressure is a result of engine blow-by since the piston rings cannot create a perfect 100% seal in side the engine. As a result of that, some of the combustion gasses leak past or "blow by" the rings and into the oil pan where that pressure can follow the oiling passages and creep into other parts of the engine. The Nuke Performance catch can that we installed in the last video should handle all of our crank case ventilation needs but its still a good idea to monitor the pressure to make sure everything is working properly.
