In normal mode you could also play spear in the ranged group if you are familiar with the timings when you need to bait the arrows. Overall, Chrono isn’t the best pick for ranged kiting as it provides very limited boons. Optimally, you want to play a boon support that provides might more consistently and helps with defensive boons like protection.
If you are playing GS, remember to swap the trait Empowered Illusions to Bountiful Blades.
