After destroying Seymour Flux, the party enters the mountain caves, and comes across a strange wall that seems to be a gathering of dreaming Fayth set into the stone cavern wall. Tiberius falls into a dream-like state when he touches it, dreaming of Zanarkand and his father Jecht. He enters his home on the house-boat, and meets the Fayth of the young boy he saw in Bevelle and at the very start of the game. Here he learns an astonishing truth - that Tiberius, his father and the home he knew are merely dreams, memories of the ancient inhabitants of Zanarkand, brought to life by the dreams of the remaining Fayth.
Tiberius laments that he likes being home, but the Fayth tells him they have dreamed a long time, and asks if he and Jecht would finally let them rest. Having touched Sin, they have taken on a quasi-reality now, and may be the ones who can bring an end to Sin and the endless dreaming...
