Today is the 1st day of my birthday month-i still can’t wrap my head around the fact that I’LL BE 50 YEARS YOUNG!!

As I prepare to celebrate my Golden Birthday, all I can think of is how grateful I am for all the blessings in my life, and know the only thing to do is pay it forward. Those of you that know me have probably seen me reference Wayne Dyer & Ram Dass a lot on social media…. It truly is my belief that we are all just walking each other home, and practicing a Love☘️Serve☘️Remember☘️ attitude in our lives is TRULY ALL that is in our control in this world.— with Bob Nicols an

Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person, and possibly save their life.

I want to use my big mouth & my amazing friends and family to celebrate the gift of me arriving at 50, in the best mental, physical, spiritual & emotional place I’ve ever been in, which is truly the greatest gift I’ve ever received.

I want my birthday to be a movement of Love, acceptance, empathy, and support, in honor and memory of our son, Geoffrey, who transitioned on New Year's Day 2019, and in honor of all those battling addiction, waking up every day, fighting to stay sober.

100% of the money received from this gofundme will be donated to a local sober living house. The sole focus of a sober living facility is to work with those battling drug addiction, to help them transition back into an independent life, free of the grips of the horrible disease of addiction.

The judgement, shame, & ignorance surrounding addiction, and the lack of funding for treatment of this disease, means those battling it have to FIGHT EVEN HARDER to get better, while dealing with unbearable emotional & financial burden.

As my dear friend Rachel used to say, “When you pray, you better move your feet.” So it is my hope that we can all move our feet together and make a difference in this world together.

I've learned long ago, after watching both my parents' battle cancer and transition, that it is not my plight in this life to "find a cure" or fundraise "for the cure" or walk or run "for the cure." LOVE IS THE CURE.

I choose to focus on what is in my control, and ☘️LOVING☘️SERVING☘️REMEMBERING☘️ is definitely something we all have in our power.
