“The Effects of Early Social-Emotional Experiences: Lessons Learned from Studies of Russian Orphanage Children” presented by Dr. Robert B. McCall to the University of Pittsburgh Office of Child Development (OCD).
These findings are the result of over 20 years of projects focused on children, from birth to four years of age, who were residents in Russian orphanages. This research by OCD and its partners have had policy and practice implications. It has also contributed to improving the welfare of countless children.
