New York City's Winter Jam, is upon us and so are the chilly preparations. The fun-filled day features free activities like arctic golf, winter camping, and an ice carving demonstration.
Tara headed out to Okamoto Custom Ice Studio in Long Island City where they are making sculptures for the event. She tried her hand at ice carving while getting tips from the pros.
The event takes place in Central Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. For more info visit nycgovparks.org.
