I'd recommend at least 16GB of RAM for any PC build these days, even if you're on a tighter budget. More memory means more responsive multitasking and the ability to run more programs in the background, as well as a better experience when streaming and or editing.
Today however, we're focusing purely on gaming and seeing how a handful of modern titles run on an entry level system with 8GB of dual channel (2x4GB) DDR4, compared to 16GB (2x8GB).
