Orkney Islands - A Treasure Trove of Ancient History

The Orkney Islands are located off the coast of Scotland. While I was traveling the North Coast 500, I took a detour to the Orkneys for a day. I was blown away by how many historical sites there are there, and some of them are over 5000 years old! It's a treasure trove of ancient history!
