In Destiny, robots and computers stil play a very integral and important part of the story. This is pretty common in Sci-fi, but even moreso, it seems, in Destiny's overall narrative. Here, we see the possibility of the Vex computer's origins before millennia ago, and at the hands of Oryx, no less.
