On Sunday, August 25, 2024, the Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson Railway operated its 'new' pair of Alco RS3s from Corinth to 'Lamothe Landing' in Greenfield Center, New York. The Alcos were delivered from the Genesee Valley Transportation Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad, painted with the "Delaware & Hudson" name, and placed in service within a matter of days! The pair are both former Delaware & Hudson Railroad locomotives, once operating in this area.The SCH now operated four Alcos on its railroad's tourist trains, which features a variety of railroad experiences including dinner trains, pizza trains, and a variety of seasonal experiences.
