Gabon has been a father and son-run operation since 1967 but now Ali Bongo's having to fend off riots in the streets and an international community that's incredulous after his electoral commission gave him the Soviet-style numbers he needed in his home province to edge his rival in a one-round presidential election. Does Paris - with its military base in Libreville and its 10,000 expatriates - intervene or stay out of it?
