CommScope’s Optical TAPs family provides a compact design of hardened terminals, for use in distribution networks where a fully connectorized solution is required. Using the full-size hardened optical adapters, CommScope’s optical TAP terminals provide a solution that reduces installation and deployment time, yet still providing the security of a connection associated with hardened connectivity.
The optical Tap terminal incorporates an unbalanced splitter (in various ratios), a balanced splitter (full tap) and a balanced splitter terminating tap.
Suitable for multiple installation environments such as underground, aerial and wall mount, CommScope’s optical TAP terminals offer a flexible solution for FTTX networks.
