Описание:
The only album by the trio from Frankfurt am Main. Guitarist and vocalist Holger Schmidt began his musical career back in 1965. At first, he warmed up in the group Groove, and in 1968, he moved to White Face. The following year, he matured enough to organize his own project, which was called Second Life. In addition to him, bassist Klaus Meinhardt and drummer Karl-Heinz Traut also joined the group. The band focused on heavy blues rock with a slant towards progressive. In 1971, the musicians recorded the album Second Life in Hamburg's Windrose Studios, which was released on the Metronome label. The most notable thing on this disc was the twenty-minute title track. Starting as a folk acoustic ballad, the composition gradually became loaded with heavy guitars in the spirit of Jimi Hendrix and "Ten Years After", accompanied by long drum solos. The second part of the record contained some good hard rock things. In 1972, the team changed its name to "Tiger B. Smith".
