Hey there! 🥁 If you've ever revisited a former hobby or passion, you know it's a mixed bag of nostalgia and "why did I ever stop doing this?." That's my drumming journey this past year in a nutshell. After taking a break post my 3-year band stint, I dove back into music.
In this video, you'll see a chronicle of my year: from adopting new techniques, to learning more advanced fills. I got out of that all-too-familiar comfort zone, jammed with some talented musicians (now friends), and even found myself in the heartbeat of a new band. Oh, and mentors? They played a HUGE role in guiding and challenging me while encouraging my individuality.
