India’s economy recorded a 7.8% GDP growth in the third quarter (October–December) of FY 2025-26, improving from 7.4% in the same period last year. According to official data, the growth reflects resilience amid global economic uncertainties.
Under the revised GDP series with base year 2022-23, nominal GDP for the quarter stood at ₹90.91 lakh crore, marking an 8.9% year-on-year increase. Estimates suggest that the overall growth rate for FY26 could reach around 7.6%.
