We have a young man in need of some love and support. His name is Logan Droke. He's a 17 year old high school student at Creekview High School. He's actually a student in one of my wife's classes. He's a great kid and he's been battling leukemia since 2011. While most kids his age are preparing for prom and graduation, he's in a Metro Atlanta children's hospital just trying to build his strength up so he can go home. His dad is Randall Droke, and he is a firefighter with the Cherokee County Fire Department. Some of Randall's crew have established a GoFundMe account for them. "The Droke Family". Check it out if you want to read more about them or even donate to this worthy cause. While donations would definitely help this family out, that's not the real reason for me reaching out to y'all. In just a little while, I get to go hang out with Logan at the hospital. While I've got plenty of heroic stories about rescuing cats out of trees and stuff, I think he'll eventually get tired of my humor so I thought it might be fun to challenge all my Book of Faces friends out there to shoot a quick 30 second to minute long uplifting and encouraging video message for Logan. It doesn't have to be anything crazy. Just a quick message for Logan while you're out there doing your normal activities. For all my friends in the fire service, you might be checking out your equipment, cooking breakfast in the firehouse, or doing some kind of training evolution. Let's see what y'all can come up with. I know this would mean a lot to Logan. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers. #Droke
