The latest installment of the Levi’s® Music Project sees Levi’s® partner with Everything Everything in Manchester and Mist in Birmingham to provide access to music in their respective cities, whilst actively showing how music can unite people and communities.
In Manchester the project brings together a group of young local musicians who, in partnership with community youth group Z-Arts, are being mentored by the everything Everything band members and a host of industry professionals to learn about all aspects of the music industry and create exclusive new material.
Meanwhile in Birmingham mist is partnering with youth music studio The Pump to guide a group of local MC’s and producers through a similar project that will shine a light on Birmingham’s growing reputation in the urban music scene.
Both projects will culminate in intimate live performances by the youngsters at the community centres, where they will show what they have their mentors have been working on.
In both cities the new long term studio facilities will be open to the wider community as a creative space for people of all ages to learn about every aspect of music and the music industry.
