This artwork is an original piece of Melbourne Street Art.
This temporary fence that covered up a hole that Tim Smith MP masterfully created using his Jaguar after colliding with another car whilst nearly 3 x over the blood alcohol limit.
The most famous part of the fence that was graffitied by an unknown hero with the word "Chappaquiddick" a thinly veiled reference to a time when another famous American politician was in an automobile accident and escaped justice due to his privilege.
This piece of the fence has been chopped out, and expertly framed in a matte black finish with enough mounting points to attach it to any wall, or fence, or dumpster.
The owners of the fence, have finally had repairs done to their house and fence, and wish to dispose of the the fence cover up in the most humorous way possible.
So they're auctioning it off to the highest or drunkest bidder.
Any money raised will go to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. https://asrc.org.au/
This piece of unique Melbourne Street Art is perfect for the politics lover or Tim Smith hater.
VIDEO SCRIPT:
The A Rational Fear mint presents a unique opportunity to own a piece of Australian political idiocy.
You can now own Tim Smith’s [fence] Cover Up … because he refuses to.
Made from 100% Bunnings particle board — collect a piece of the sheet that covered up a hole in the fence created by a drink-driving — Tim Smith —maybe the worst Victorian Liberal ever, If it wasn’t for the whole Nazi thing.
In terms of [fence] Cover Ups — it’s one of the dumbest ever presented for sale to the Australian public.
Like its namesake — the particle board is of low value.
Hang it on your wall as a warning about the dangers of mixing privilege and alcohol.
Sit it in your dining room where your guests can be as intoxicated as someone who had a skinful and drove through a fence on their way home.
Or simply put it out in the scrap heap of history where it belongs.
Proceeds from the sale of Tim Smith’s [fence] Cover Up will go to Australian Seeker Resource Centre.
Remember if you drink and drive through a fence — you’re a bloody idiot.
