Winter in Lake Tahoe in 4K | Snowshoe Hiking & Sunset Cruise

Описание: After a wonderful blizzard, we hiked and snowshoed around Lake Tahoe's famous Fallen Leaf Lake along the Mt. Tallac trail. Winter is a beautiful time, and showshoeing allows you to safely check out some of the surrounding wilderness. In this video, we briefly hiked off trail to reach Floating Island Lake, a hidden gem of South Lake Tahoe. Just be sure you know where you're going and that you're properly prepared!

Winter in Tahoe also offers an amazing opportunity to take to the lake, which we did through Emerald Bay Cruises. Although chilly, its the perfect conditions to hop on the lake as the temperature deters most other tourists.

Mark Twain once visited this amazing lake and wrote about his journey in "Roughing It." While most tourists come here ski, gamble and snowboard, going uphill can be just as fun (if not more) as going down hill.
