'18 Hour Flower'- 'Semi-Auto Trait' found in Middle East & North African landrace cannabis varieties

Описание: As new people see our videos about this interesting cannabis trait, some jump to the conclusion that these plants are ruderalis auto flowers or ruderalis crosses... BUT, I've come to a different conclusion, that these are an entirely different category of cannabis that does not contain ruderalis genetics.

Basic concept to consider: The landrace plants that I have found with the '18 hour flower' trait are sourced from Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, & Iran. These cannabis varieties have been grown domestically for decades, centuries, if not millennia in these regions, & they have been selectively bred over time to flower early in order to finish up their flower cycle before the summer conditions in these regions get too hot & dry. Thus these plants have been bred to flower & finish early in the summer.

Unlike ruderalis, these varieties have remained photosensitve (they can be kept in veg as long as the light is over 18 hours per day), so this allows growers like myself to veg these plants as long as I want by adding a tiny bit of supplemental light to keep the light over 18 hours per day. I have grown some of these varieties 10 feet tall that yield 5 pounds or more by simply hanging a solar spotlight over them, then removing the light once I wanted them to start flowering. These plants can also be cloned, while ruderalis cannot.

Some people may suggest that these varieties are ruderalis crosses, & they behave in a similar way to ruderalis crosses - but this would mean that people from the Middle East & North Africa traveled to Siberia hundreds of years ago to source ruderalis genetics to cross into their photosensitive landrace varieties.... or perhaps the more simple conclusion is that the cannabis farmers in these Middle Eastern & North African regions selectively bred their photosenstive plants to flower early & finish up by mid-summer before the conditions got too hot & dry.

My conclusion is these are their own unique category of agile adapted full term photosensitive cannabis!
