About this Session:
In the B2B customer journey information plays a critical role. Customers often look for detailed information on products or services which either they are using or planning to use. The information even though found on a single webpage, is often a mix of technical content like product specifications and marketing content like product branding and description. But customers do not care if the information is coming from different sources (technical content and marketing content), they only want accurate and consistent information.
While we might have come a long way from the past, often represented by the siloed worlds of technical and marketing content being managed in different CMSs, just managing these seemingly different content paradigms on a single platform is not enough. Merging reusable snippets of each of these in a single web page in a truly scalable manner was always the eventual goal.
With the latest release of Adobe Experience Manager Guides, we have made this possible. By allowing authors to easily blend technical and marketing information on a single page, not only have we made life easier for marketing and technical writing departments but taken the next leap in transforming digital experience. Using this capability authors can directly publish a ‘DITA topic’ (reusable element of technical content) or the elements within a DITA topic to a ‘content fragment’ (reusable element of marketing content) providing a truly immersive experience to end users on an Adobe Experience Manager Sites webpage.
