Gatria is under Terminid control and this op was pure pest control: destroy 3 egg nests. The DSS nearby gave a slight boost to liberation, but the planet stayed nasty with roving Shriekers and complex stratagem plotting increasing call-in time by 50%—because even calling in freedom has a waiting period now.

I ran the AR-2 Coyote with the SA-8 Ram heavy set for higher armor and stamina recovery when taking damage. Stratagems were Eagle 500kg Bomb, LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, LIFT-850 Jump Pack, and the A/MLS-4X Rocket Sentry.

This was a five-star run with nonstop action. We trekked across the map clearing side objectives while smashing, squashing, and blowing up anything with too many legs. Eggs got deleted, bug holes got closed, and we spent the whole mission dodging bile, Chargers, and surprise bugs that think personal space is optional. I only used one clone, but it still irks me that the game doesn’t always tell you what killed you—if I’m going down, I want the receipt. The team treated the clone factory like it needed overtime, but we never ran out.

Terrain and the jump pack saved us from a lot of unnecessary deaths, and when it was time to extract we held the LZ until the Pelican arrived and everyone made it out alive—barely—while the bugs tried their hardest to change that.

Recorded through a capture card onto a dedicated PC. Played on an RTX 5090 and i7-14700K in cinematic 4K with ultra settings (shown at the beginning of every video). MSI Afterburner is always running to monitor the hardware. This is the beta slim version of HD2—less space, same graphics.
