I Hate AI!!! (It’s OK if You Don’t)

Описание: I am ok if you pass on this, but I also say things in it because I respect you and your time. 26 minutes is a lot to ask of anyone. If you watch, I appreciate you and you are beyond generous. If you don’t, I still appreciate you – I mean that.

So, yeah. I lost the debate with myself and decided to record and upload this. All that insecurity I talk about in the video had me thinking I should not subject the world to this rant (well, kind of a rant). Then I thought I would rather not wonder. You do not need to feel compelled to try and talk me down from the self-loathing part of the vid. I already know you would try and help me. I am ok and not a wilted flower. Like I tell my family, be happy I am not the other direction… Hey kids, you are so fortunate to have me! Ha ha.

When I said AI in this video and context, I mean AI music and/or art. And I also connect that to things like advertising and such, so if I ever do tutorials, gear demos, live stuff, etc… I still won’t use it. I have used it for utilitarian things like stem separation or dictation and such, but not the creation of art. With the operative word there being create. Oh, and I am not an old guy yelling at clouds… half of the guitars you hear in my songs if you listen is amp simulators and software. Technology is awesome… when it is used by humans to extend human experience.

Lastly, I mention in the vid that I am a Christian… and I do have opinions on that front regarding AI too. This is not the place I want to discuss that. Email is always welcome, but I want to respect the setting here that is around music.
