A preserved penis displayed in a museum in Russia is often claimed to belong to Grigori Rasputin, but most historians agree this is likely a myth, not a verified artifact.
What is well documented, however, is Rasputin’s remarkable influence and popularity among women, most notably Empress Alexandra, the wife of Tsar Nicholas II. His perceived ability to ease the suffering of the royal heir gave him unprecedented access to the imperial family.
Because of this influence, rumors spread widely that Rasputin was secretly controlling the Russian Empire, shaping political decisions from behind the throne. These beliefs fueled public hatred and conspiracy theories, contributing directly to his assassination in 1916.
