Описание: Join me for a fun LEGO review of Newt's Case of Magical Creatures, a 2018 LEGO Fantastic Beasts set featuring Newt Scamander, Jacob Kowalski, Tina Goldstein and Queenie Goldstein minifigures and a selection of LEGO magical beasts inside Newt Scamander's magical LEGO suitcase. This 694 piece LEGO set includes LEGO Erumpent, Occamy and Thunderbird creatures plus a Niffler and a really ropey attempt at a Bowtruckle.

LEGO Fantastic Beasts 75952 Newt's Case of Magical Creatures features Newt's case which is magically expanded using an undetectable extension charm in order to house a menagerie of magical beasts. We don't get all of Newt's magical beasts, the most notable omission being the Demiguise but we do get a cool LEGO Erumpent, an Occamy and a Thunderbird. These are all top notch LEGO builds.

We also get some LEGO Fantastic Beasts minifigures with exclusive prints showing the characters in costume from the original Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie from 2017. Newton Scamander is dressed in pants and shirt with vest and pocket watch. Queenie Goldstein is dressed in what looks like pink satin nightwear with some really nice pearlescent printing. Tina Goldstein is well dressed in shirt and pants with a cool hairpiece and Jacob Kolawski is ready to take on the erumpent complete with protective vest, helmet and LEGO umbrella.

Newt's case is a masterpiece of LEGO building and unfolds to reveal a magically expanded universe within. The interior features a LEGO Occamy egg, shelter and grooming areas as well as Newt's shed. There's even a picture of Newt's very good friend from Hogwarts, Leta Lestrange (but that's a story for another day).

Also included in LEGO 75952 Newt's case is a mountain region for the Thunderbird and a habitat for the Bowtruckles. There's a food preparation and grooming station complete with sink and golden faucet and an Occamy nest complete with egg, although we only get a standard white LEGO egg and not the soft silver egg that the Occamy lays. Newt's case folds into a standard suitcase complete with "Muggle Worthy" switch to protect the contents.

Newt protects his case of magical creatures with an undetectable extension charm, very similar to the one used by Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Overall, 75952 Newt's Case of Magical Creatures is an awesome LEGO set full of invention and whimsy and a great Wizarding World addition.
