The Volunteer Digital Team at Wentworth Woodhouse have created a significant digital archive of the work undertaken at the House since the team was formed in 2020. In this video, we piece together digital assets from a variety of sources, to create a film which charts loss, decay and hope.
Our magnificent Glasshouses were sadly demolished in 1959 and our beautiful Camellia House almost succumbed to dynamite and open cast mining a few years earlier. Thankfully, the Camellia House survived, and July 2022 is a very special month for this architectural gem.
