Senior Congress leaders and MLAs from Madhya Pradesh have launched a 'Satyagraha' protest in Delhi against the rejection of Rajya Sabha candidate Meenakshi Natarajan's nomination. The Congress described the move as an attack on democracy and staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar. During the protest, several leaders and legislators were detained by the police. The party also sought an appointment with President Droupadi Murmu and expressed disappointment after not receiving one. In view of the protest, heavy police deployment and barricading were put in place at Jantar Mantar.

मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेताओं और विधायकों ने राज्यसभा उम्मीदवार मीनाक्षी नटराजन का नामांकन रद्द किए जाने के विरोध में दिल्ली में 'सत्याग्रह' आंदोलन शुरू किया है। कांग्रेस नेताओं ने इस कार्रवाई को लोकतंत्र पर हमला बताते हुए जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शन के दौरान कई नेताओं और विधायकों को पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया। वहीं, कांग्रेस ने राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु से मिलने का समय भी मांगा, लेकिन मुलाकात न होने पर नाराजगी जताई। विरोध प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए जंतर-मंतर पर भारी पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया और बैरिकेडिंग कर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी गई।
