Perkoz dwuczuby / Great crested grebe / Podiceps cristatus

Описание: Z góry przepraszam za momentami krzywy horyzont - leżałem pod podwójną siatką maskującą, czasami w naprawdę ekwilibrystycznej pozycji, aby nadążyć obiektywem za ptakami przy okazji ich nie płosząc.

Sorry for the occasional wonky horizon - I was hidden under a double (folded in half) camo net (poor visibility), often having my camera in a very awkward position with my eye not exactly glued to the viewfinder, so as not to spook the birds (with either the movement or the sound of the camo net), and and so it didn't came out perfect.

0:05 - adult grebe trying to feed its young, unsuccessfully (either the fish was too big, the youngster was too clumsy to grab it or was simply uninterested - hence the audible frustration of the parent)
1:34 - the youngster successfully takes over the fish, which quickly goes down the gullet :-)
2:18 - slow motion (5x) clip of a youngster trying to catch a fish
3:06 - back to normal speed, no success
3:49 - the youngster keeps struggling unsuccessfully, but it's interesting to watch its technique
5:01 - the parent catches a fish and swims away to deliver to (probably) one of the younger chicks
