All-Party Meet Called on West Asia Crisis | India Weighs Response Amid Trade & Energy Impact

Описание: The Union Government has called an all-party meeting today at 5 PM at Parliament House to discuss the escalating West Asia conflict and its impact on global trade and energy markets.

The meeting will be chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, with 5–6 ministers including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar attending. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will brief party leaders on the latest developments.

Leaders from across political parties are expected to deliberate on India’s position regarding security, economic impact, and diplomatic developments. Rahul Gandhi will not attend due to prior commitments.

The West Asia conflict has now entered its fourth week, disrupting key global trade routes, including the Strait of Hormuz, and creating volatility in energy markets after the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in joint US-Israel strikes.
