Описание: The Key pattern in the Crescent V-Rod of the roadside Aberlemno Crossslab is a standard Celtic pattern of repeating symmetry. During the 5th century Pictish artisans began utilizing this style of key pattern their Christian Art, then soon after Celtic artisans did the same types of keypatterns in gospel books from the 7th century onward. Key patterns are a further development of spiral designs that the Iron age Celtic tribes used since 500 BCE (such as the motifs on the Amphreville Helmet). In this video Jason Bellchamber shows the where the pattern is in the Picture Stone. Instructional videos will follow this one.
