JAVA web application(Easy way) with Oracle Database Step-2 System Preparation (by Akhil Gupta)

Описание: Step2: System Preparation

1. First Install JDK(Java Development KIT)
Download Link: https://www.java.com/en/download/

2. Install Apache-tomcat(Server)
(Remember during Installation Change the HTTP port something unique. I am using 6060)

3. Now start the tomcat server. Once started we can access the server using url (http://localhost:6060)

4. Install Oracle Database. I am using Oracle Database 10 G. ( Yes, that’s a bit old : \
you can use the latest :) )

5. Create one folder inside TOMCAT_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY/webapps/oracle-java

oracle-java is our project name

6. Create one sample index.jsp and check if we can able to access the project.

7. That’s it :)


System Setup is Done..!! Next Video will start coding :)
