OKX operates on a standard maker-taker fee model.

When you place an order that gets filled immediately, you're acting as a 'taker'.

If you place an order that is not immediately matched, that's a 'maker' order.

For each trade, the 'maker' pays a fee of 0.1 percent, while the 'taker' pays 0.15 percent.

If you hold the native token OKB, you can get discounts on trading fees.

The more OKB you hold, the bigger your discount.

For example, holding five hundred OKB reduces the maker fee to 0.08 percent and the taker fee to 0.10 percent.

Frequent traders can benefit from the VIP program, which offers lower rates based on trading volume.

To recap, trading on OKX costs 0.1 percent as a maker and 0.15 percent as a taker.
