AN INSTANT STAPLE! Hex Magic from Marvel Super Heroes (MTG MSH) — Ruby Storm | Magic: The Gathering

Описание: We have a new card from Marvel Super Heroes: Hex Magic. For two and a red, you have a sorcery that's also an arcane spell.

You can exile your hand and then draw that many cards. Cards exiled this way may be played until the end of the turn. I believe that this card is going to see play in both Modern and Legacy Ruby Storm.

In Modern, it's likely going to replace something like Glimpse the Impossible, which is a card that I've never loved in that deck. And now you have this pseudo Wheel of Fortune to create a ton of card advantage.

But it's a little bit different than something like Past in Flames, because with Past in Flames, you would like to play all of your cards up front. You want to play your Manamorphose, your Desperate Rituals, etc., and then Past in Flames.

With Hex Magic, you want to play this card first and then play the rest of your spells. So that two and a red up front means that you're not likely going to be playing it very explosively—like, this will be a turn three, turn four card.

But it's going to create so much of an advantage where you can overwhelm the opponent. I think that this card is going to be an instant staple. What do you think?
