Let's talk about the Nissart language.

The Nissart language (sometimes writen Niçard langage) is a variety of the Occitan language spoken in the Nice region and its surroundings. It is a Provençal dialect belonging to the Occitan group, which presents local particularities influenced by contacts with Italian, Piemontese and French. This language is distinguished by its specific phonetic and lexical features that make it unique within the Occitan linguistic continuum. Formerly widely used in everyday life, the use of Nissart Occitan has declined sharply since the 1950s. Today, few people still speak Nissart on a daily basis but the language remains a strong identity marker and it is present in many schools and cultural events around Nice. Thus, all the inhabitants of the city know a good part of the local anthem "Nissa la Bella" (Nice the Beautiful). Children also generally learn it at school.

The culture of Nice is a blend of Provençal, Italian, and Mediterranean influences, reflected in traditional music, dance (such as « balètis »), and cuisine, which includes dishes such as « sòcca », « pissaladièra », and « farcits » . The city of Nice and its surroundings embrace modernity while preserving a rich historical heritage, visible in monuments such as the Palais des Rois Sardes, convivial events such as the Carnival, and the beauty of the landscape, such as the Promenade des Anglais.
