A World War II era Canso bomber crash site reachable via a short hike in a rainforest! Located inside Pacific Rim National Forest Reserve on Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada, the crash of the plane took place shortly after it took off with explosives and 12 crew members. Fortunately the explosives didn’t detonate and everyone survived. The hiking trail is short but muddy/steep in a few sections. Those who are willing to venture in get to enjoy the lush rainforest and witness the plane ruins.
