Shabari’s Cave is the place where the great tribal devotee of Lord Ramacandra, Shabari used to live and perform her tapasya (austerities). There is actual spot where Lord Ramacandra and Laxmana sat and had baer (berries) picked by her. Shabari’s cave is next to sacred Pampa Sarovar in Hampi, which is also known historicaly known as Kishkinda Ksetra, the Vanara (monkey) kingdom mentioned in the Ramayana.
