Описание: He found fame in the spotlight 20 years ago as part of Westlife in 1998.And Shane Filan discussed how his young daughter wants to follow in his footsteps when he appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday.The Westlife star, 38, explained he hired the help of his 12-year-old child for his music video because she wants to break into the great and the good of the acting spheres.'My daughter Nicole is in the video of my new single. She wants to be an actress when she grows older,' he said. 'She wants to be Emma Watson from Harry Potter. If she does go on to be successful I can say I gave her her first big break.'Despite encouraging his daughter to make her mark in the showbiz circuit, the dad-of-three confessed he would be 'very protective' of her. He added: 'It can be a great industry but it can nasty as well. Whatever it may be in life, you've got to go for it.'Recalling his own big break, he said: 'My first audition for Simon Cowell, he didn't like me at all. A few months later, I dyed my hair blonde and got into the band.'It was very big, very quickly, so surreal, you've just got to go for it. It's an industry that can end very quickly. We've had a great fan base, we've been very lucky.' Shane raises his three children (Nicole, aged 12, Shane, aged eight, and Patrick, aged nine) with his wife Gillian.The musician married his childhood sweetheart Gillian in a romantic ceremony at Ballintubber Abbey in December 2003. They are fastly approaching their 15th anniversary of marriage later this year and the rocker couldn't stop gushing over his wife.'We were 20 years together last month, 15 years married later this year. She's an amazing woman.'Every inch the devoted dad, Shane says he tries to get a break from the showbiz circuit and invest 40 percent of his time into daddy duties. 'I try and stay 40 percent of the time at home, do the usual daddy duties, bringing the kids to school. I'll do the shows I want to do, like today but you have to say no.'The Irish hunk was propelled into the limelight as part of the Westlife in 1998 but the boy band disbanded in 2012. It is the 20th anniversary this year but the singer disappointed fans when he revealed they will not be doing anything to mark the milestone.He explained: 'There's nothing happening for the 20th anniversary of Westlife. We've an amazing history together, we have a lot of fun together. It's not a definite no or yes, maybe someday down the line! the Westlife fans would love it.'
