Shows how a capacitor is able to hold charge.
Plate 1 is given a positive charge to its full potential. Now when Plate 2 is brought near Plate 1 positive charge will move to the further side of Plate 2. Under the effect of negative charge of Plate 2, Plate 1 will be able to accept more positive charge. Earthing the outer side of Plate 2 will remove its positive charge leaving only negative charge. Now we have both plates holding charge.
