CJP Protest: 'Delhi On High Alert'; 6,000 Cops Deployed & Central Park Sealed For CJP Rally

Описание: CJP Protest: 'Delhi On High Alert'; 6,000 Cops Deployed & Central Park Sealed For CJP Rally

Delhi has been placed under a massive multi-tiered security grid with over 6,000 police personnel and 220 CAPF companies deployed across Connaught Place ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) scheduled "Lehra Do Tiranga" march.

With Section 163 of the BNSS strictly enforced, the NDMC has completely sealed Central Park for two days, while Delhi Police served a formal notice to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke barring unauthorized assemblies. Authorities have urged citizens to avoid Connaught Place, offering to facilitate a symbolic group of only 11 people to display the national flag. The crackdown follows the Supreme Court declining an urgent hearing on the venue shutdown and the Delhi High Court directing police regulation.
