Today on our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers INXB130-138, those are the Inno Aero Crossbars, 51 and 54 inches long; part number INXS250, those are the Inno Through Feet; and part number INK655, and that's the Custom Fit Kit for the Santa Fe. The Inno Aero Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of objects and freeing up space inside your vehicle. Since it uses the through feet, you can actually have more accessories coming further out as opposed to the other Inno feet that actually cover the end. You can carry a wide variety of accessories ranging from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes to water sport carriers to ski and snowboard carriers. All four of our end caps have these locks on them, so once you install this to your roof rack it's going to be secured to it. When you remove your end caps, you'll see that it has this rubber strip here in the center. Now, that coupled with the aerodynamic shape of the bars is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving.
Also, it enables you to use t-track accessories. You don't even have to remove the rubber strip. You just push it down and push your accessories into place. When you're all set up, just put the end cap back on. Now, the carrying capacity for both these bars is going to be 100 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack, let's go ahead and show you how it installs.
We have it partially assembled on our table here, and here we have our foot with the cover, the end cap, and the inner bracket, and that's all part of the same kit. Then we have our fit kit here with the pad and the clamp. What we'll first do is take our inner clamp from our foot pack and install it onto our bar. We'll slide this inner portion out, like so. Our bracket here has a little divot that we're going to line up with this portion on our Aero bar. That just pushes into place, like so, and then we'll push it on in to where it was before.
Next, we'll take our foot and we want to make sure that our tab here fits into this portion of the inner bracket that we just installed and that the screw will line up with this portion. We'll go ahead and do that, push it into place, and slide it down the track. Next, we'll measure to make sure that our feet are the proper distance from each other. Now we can tighten down our Allen head screw here in the center to that inner bracket we installed earlier with our included tool. Next, we'll start installing our fit kit. We'll start with the rubber pad.
They are numbered, so just make sure that it's with the corresponding leg. Just push it into place. Then we'll take our clamp and install it on the outside here. We'll first have to remove our screw on the end. We'll just install it loosely and then set it onto our vehicle. We'll open up both of our rear doors and then set our bar in place. Next, we'll measure from the center of the doorjamb to the center of our bar to get our proper measurement there for the spacing between the front and the rear. Once you have those measurements determined, then we can start to tighten it down. We'll first snug it up against our doorjamb here. Once we have them snugged down on both sides, then we'll completely tighten them down by going back and forth and giving about five or six turns each time until they're torqued to specifications, which when that does happen, your tightening tool will actually make a couple clicking sounds, like so. Now, normally at this point we would take our pad here to connect to this portion here to take away the noise sound i
