David’s new middle school-grade novel, INVISIBLE: The (Sort Of) True Story of Me and My Hidden Disease, is inspired by his own experience living with Crohn’s. The story follows 8-year-old J.J. Sugar, who discovers his passion for drawing alongside a new companion: Norm, the giant, sarcastic embodiment of his chronic illness who refuses to stay hidden.
