My Mom Is Moving In Next Door | Life On Our Swedish Forest Farm

Описание: A few years ago, after several years of loss and darkness, our family made a life-changing decision. Instead of simply turning the page, we chose to begin an entirely new book.

We moved to a small farm deep in the forests of southern Sweden, where we are slowly building a new kind of everyday life — one with a slower rhythm, closer to nature, animals, family and the seasons.

And now… something very exciting is happening.

My mom has bought the farm right next to ours.

Together we are beginning to create our own version of generational living — living close to one another while still honoring space, independence and our own homes.

In this video we take you back to last summer, when our whole family came to view the yellow farm for the first time. My brother and his family joined us as we explored the land and the old outbuildings together.

Then we jump forward to the moment my mom finally got the keys. While she and Mikael were signing the final papers, Kimi and I prepared a little surprise for her in the root cellar before she opened the door to her new home for the very first time.

Back in the present day we continue exploring the farm — wandering through the huge barn, the old workshop and dreaming about what this place could become.

Here at Sännesholma gård there is no ceiling for dreams and ideas.
