New episodes of Raised by Wolves Season 2 are being released weekly on HBO Max. Episode 6 "The Tree" was another intense installment where a major character made the ultimate sacrifice.

Episode 6 of Raised by Wolves season 2 saw the ancient android Grandmother activated. Tempest gave birth to her daughter who was then abducted by a sea creature. Sue opened the box with the Tree of Knowledge seed but became its host and became part of the tree.

As they try and fail to open the seed box, Sue and Paul realize they need Marcus’s help. Sue makes a plan to break Marcus out of the brig while Mother is distracted with the imminent birth of Tempest’s baby. But when Sue, Paul and Marcus finally open the seed box, they make a horrifying discovery.

One of HBO Max's flagship titles when it first launched was the compelling sci-fi series Raised by Wolves, which has added six new cast members for its sophomore season, according to Deadline. The new season has added Peter Christoffersen (When the Dust Settles), Selina Jones (Fragments), Morgan Santo (The Watch), James Harkness (The Victim, Anne Boleyn), Kim Engelbrecht (Eye in the Sky, The Flash), and Jennifer Saayeng (Cursed, The Capture) to its ensemble. They join Season 1 stars Amanda Collin and Abubakar Salim in the series created by Aaron Guzikowski and from producer Ridley Scott. Season 2 will debut February 3, 2021.

In Raised by Wolves season 2 there are so many questions that need to be explained. Who is the voice that Marcus and Paul hear? How is the voice connected to the person Mother thought was her creator in the sim? Who was the creature that looked human and was carrying the tarot cards? How many atheists are on the ark? What was going on with ghost Tally? How did Mouse come back after falling in the pit?

From Executive Producer Ridley Scott, Raised by Wolves centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.
