Описание: In this video we will allow Scripture to interpret Scripture and receive the understanding from Genesis 6 in its proper context. Many people have read sensationalist ideas into the text to from a belief that just isn't true. We will see by examining Genesis 6 in light of other passages of Scripture, that the giants (Nephilim) were already present on the earth when the sons of God took wives from the daughters of men. This means that the children that resulted from these marriages were not the giants (Nephilim). In light of other passages of Scripture that show how God was against the godly lineage from Seth intermingling with unbelievers, we can better understand that the term "sons of God" was actually referring to the men from the godly lineage who took wives from the daughters of men outside of the godly lineage. A Scriptural reference that reveals this very clearly is Ezra 9:1-2. The holy seed was not to mingle with the unbelievers of other lands. Join me as we look at the word Nephilim that is translated as giants in the King James version of the Bible. There is much to learn on the Nephilim and it is important to understand that they existed long after the flood as well and they were fully human sons of a man by the name of Anak as we read about in Numbers 13:33. If Nephilim that existed long after the flood were fully human men with a human father, why couldn't that also be the case when Nephilim are mentioned in Genesis 6:4? The context of Genesis 6 is very clear when we read the text with no preconceived ideas and allow God's Word to speak for itself.
