In this video we will be taking a look at 4 different KUMU snaredrums.
Each drum is first played with the snares off, then with them engaged, and lastly with an added piece of moongel. At the end of each tuning is a small demo in playing context. Below are the timestamps:

Couple of other notes:
All the snaresides are tuned identical, to the note of G (392Hz). The note mentioned in the timestamps are the fundamental notes when played.
The recording was made with an Audix i5 on the snare, an AKG D112 on the bass drum, and a single RODE NT1-A overhead microphone.
NO EQ, only the individual mic levels are balanced!
The bass drum is a KUMU 24" x 18.5"
The ride is a Sihi Kaaos 21", crash is Kaaos 18"and the hi-hats are Sihi Sysi 14". You can shop these at www.symbaalishoppi.fi
