"Carol" is one of my absolute favourite films of all time :))) The acting from Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett + the cinematography in Carol is amaazing!!! it was based off a 1950s pulp fiction novel "The Price of Salt" by Patricia Highsmith - the first published novel where two sapphic characters actually got a happy ending, as it was taboo to frame sapphic love as valid in 1950s America.
I arranged the stills in chronological order of the film and chose a mix of historically accurate 1950s songs and more contemporary songs that I love and think capture the film. pls watch Carol! pls enjoy :) #playlist #playlists #pov #carol #1950s #vintage #retro #movies
