One of my personal favorites from the 1986 arcade racing game OutRun, which plays on the Yamaha YM2151 and SegaPCM, a 16-channel sampler chip. I did notice something interesting when I went to mute each channels of the chip; the samples play on the first six even channels of the SegaPCM chip. They mostly play on channels 2, 4, and 6, while channels 8, 10, 12 seem to be used to make the cymbal sound play longer. By the way, "A" and "C" being used here are the hexadecimal values for the numbers "10" and "12" respectively.
