Badami is in Bagalkot district of Karnataka state which is famous for ancient rock cut temples, Agastya lake . We get down in Badami Railyway station for badami which is 5 kilometres from Badami town .
Aihole another ancient town is about 35 kilometres. Pathadikal the temple town is on tje way from badami to aihole about 17 kilometres.
There is archeological museum in badami and aihole . The visit to site gives us the glimses of the old architecture. It is a must visit place for those who love history .
