Описание: This video shows you how to make a Harry Potter Hogwarts house reveal cake. This is kind of a play on the popular gender reveal cakes, however when you cut inside something much more important is revealed…your Hogwarts house!

p.s, it has been pointed out that Hufflepuff's animal is a badger and not a beaver. My bad! We don't have either animals down under 😂

You will need:
2 standard cakes, cut in half
1 large batch of buttercream frosting
Fondant
Assorted candies to match your Hogwarts house
Dark chocolate ganache

To make the ganache:
1. Heat 1/3 cup cream in the microwave for 1 minute, or over the stove top, until hot but not boiling.
2. Pour the cream over 200g of finely chopped, good quality dark chocolate chocolate, set aside for 2 minutes.
3. Stir until all the chocolate is melted & the mixture is smooth.
4. If you want to add some black food dye to make the colour bolder.
5. Use to decorate your cake :)
